Long-overdue Welcome[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

Here are some other hints and tips:

  • I recommend that you get a username. You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free and non-intrusive, requires no personal information, and there are many benefits of having a username. (If you edit without a username, your IP address is used to identify you instead.)
  • When using talk pages, please sign your name at the end of your messages by typing four tildes (~~~~). This will automatically produce your username (or IP address) and the date.

If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my talk page, or type {{helpme}} on this talk page and a user will help you as soon as possible. I will try to answer your questions as best as I can. Again, welcome, and I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian. Trafford09 (talk) 00:54, 22 July 2010 (UTC)

How can anything be an infintesimal. Even the smallest number when summed will eventually exceed 1. Hmm...

As the article said, real numbers, other than 0, cannot be infinitesimal. Infinitesimals exist in certain ordered fields of rational functions, and you don't need anything beyond high-school algebra to understand those. If you are actually interested, send me an email and I will give you specifics. Michael Hardy 16:16, 5 August 2005 (UTC)

Chevy Volt price[edit]

Hi there. I've partly reversed and partly questioned your revision of the Chevy Volt price. I just want to clarify a bit why I did what I did. First GM executives speculate needs a source if that's how we got the $40,000 number. It's not in the source that way (please don't leave a source there if your edit changes content in that way). Also, we need more info on the tax credit, is it a credit on income or taxes owed? Finally price not set yet needs a source. We don't know either way from the Motortrend source. Overall, I think you're hedging a little about the price of the car, but best of luck in sourcing what you said. Diderot's dreams (talk) 22:04, 23 September 2009 (UTC)

I rexamined things and made some more adjustments to the price info in the lead. First, I didn't see the pricing info in the article-- the tax credit is in already sourced and on taxes owed. (my bad :( ) "Price not set yet" is in fact understood by saying "estimated" so I just removed it. Diderot's dreams (talk) 17:32, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
