Hello, I'm A09090091. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Marion Tinsley, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. A09090091 (talk) 15:37, 25 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, you're incorrect, my edit is supported by the source that was already at the end of the sentence. It says: "Derek Oldbury, probably the second best player of all time, wrote an encyclopedia of checkers. It was effusive in its praise for the master: “Marion Tinsley is to checkers what Leonardo da Vinci was to science, what Michelangelo was to art and what Beethoven was to music.”" Please revert your edit. --2001:7C0:2517:C:C5:5971:8F93:71D8 (talk) 15:42, 25 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for reverting, you explanation makes sense. I suggest writing such notes, so other editors will diferentiate such edits from other non-sourced additions to articles. Thanks, A09090091 (talk) 15:58, 25 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
