Supercars Championship[edit]

While the V8 Supercars branding was applied to the cars for the 1997 and 1998 Australian Touring Car Championships, the "V8 Supercars Championship Series" did not begin until 1999 (as the Shell Championship Series). Therefore the number of ATCCs contested by V8 Supercars and the number of V8 Supercars Championships is different. – Ky ta bu 21:41, 13 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
