even, odd annotation in the descriptive algorithm

I added an additional information to the second paragraph in the algorithm to help understand the below code example. There are many discussions in different forums about not working implementation referencing to this specific page. All is about starting from the leftmost position and not implementing the even vs. odd or lenght calculation correctly. I think my annotation is of high value. But it's deleted. Why?
