Racingstripes

[edit]

I would hold off on reversing Racingstripes until they determine what to do ... the subject of category deletion is current being discussed under AFD. Feel free to join in it if you like.--Epeefleche (talk) 09:51, 18 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

JD Durbin

[edit]

Where did you get that Durbin signed with the Dodgers?--Johnny Spasm (talk) 08:46, 6 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

According to MLB.com he is still a Phillie.--Johnny Spasm (talk) 01:10, 8 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

MLB.com doesn't keep the profiles very well updated, especially when it comes to the minor leagues. 2008 Topps (talk) 16:05, 8 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Show me one source that confirms that he is with the Dodgers. I checked baseball-reference.com also.--Johnny Spasm (talk) 03:06, 9 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Show me an accurate source he is still with the Phillies.2008 Topps (talk) 17:05, 9 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I've looked. I can't find one source that says he's a Dodger other than you. Don't change it again.--Johnny Spasm (talk) 20:30, 13 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Topps 2008, please note that blogs are not considered reliable sources, no matter where they are hosted. The MLB page shows him with his last MLB team, and there are confirmed reports in reliable sources that show him as a free agent. [1] [2] [3] KV5 (TalkPhils) 22:39, 13 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Regardless, you cannot and should not discount a plethora of reliable sources in favor of one source, per WP:FRINGE. KV5 (TalkPhils) 19:26, 14 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I think this is just a misreading... J. D. Closser is with the Dodgers (or their AA team anyways), Durbin is not. THat blog you linked to are about Closser not Durbin. Spanneraol (talk) 20:38, 14 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
No, I linked to that blog post because that's where Eddy told his source for transactions, Durbin's signing was in a newer post. 2008 Topps (talk) 16:09, 15 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I think so too, but I won't expect to get one. 20:09, 10 May 2009 (UTC)
