Please do not add commercial links or links to your own private websites to Wikipedia, as you did in Maria Martinez. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or a mere collection of external links. You are, however, encouraged to add content instead of links. See the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thanks. - Tapir Terrific 03:33, 20 July 2006 (UTC)

Re:your message: Thanks for contacting me with your question. I was concerned that the external links you added to a number of pages fell under the category of spam, and so I removed them. This, however, had more to do with where they were placed in the article and the format in which they were written - on first glance, they looked like run-of-the-mill spam. I would encourage you to take a look at the way other articles on notable people deal with external links, and if you think that the links to the films are appropriate, you are welcome to add them back in. I assure you, my edits had nothing to do with Maria Martinez herself or the subjects of the other articles - I'm sorry if it came across that way! If you have any questions, please drop me a line again (although I may not be online for a bit). Thanks, and see you around! - Tapir Terrific 03:48, 20 July 2006 (UTC)

Maria Martinez[edit]

Hi again - I actually went through and cleaned up the references/external links/works cited section of the Maria Martinez article, adding back your link. - Tapir Terrific 04:08, 20 July 2006 (UTC)
