Welcome!

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits to the page Donald Trump in music have not conformed to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and has been or will be removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or in other media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles. Additionally, all new biographies of living people must contain at least one reliable source.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to the new contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to KSAN (FM), it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. Binksternet (talk) 08:41, 3 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I guess I'm confused as to why my edits were reverted when the preceding information on other artists the station plays was left up, despite not also being properly cited. I added a link to the station's playlist, which I think should be enough to provide some color on what kinds of station the music plays (which I believe is the purpose of that entire section. It's also interesting to show that enough time has passed for songs from the early 2000s to be played on a classic rock station.) I believe my edits should be allowed to stand or maybe even merged in with the list of artists the station plays, if that's a workable compromise. 209.65.187.32 (talk) 17:19, 4 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think it's a good argument to say that your problematic edits should stand simply because of previous problematic edits. Of course, the answer is to remove everything that violates WP:No original research including your stuff. Binksternet (talk) 18:11, 4 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
