Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages you might like to see:

You are welcome to continue editing without logging in, but many editors recommend that you create an account. Doing so is free, requires no personal information, and provides several benefits such as the ability to create articles. For a full outline and explanation of the benefits that come with creating an account, please see this page. If you edit without a username, your IP address (219.76.99.194) is used to identify you instead.

In any case, I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your comments on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your IP address (or username if you're logged in) and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}} before the question on this page. Again, welcome! — Mr. Stradivarius 09:48, 2 July 2011 (UTC)

Information.svg Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions, including your edits to Li Peng. However, please be aware of Wikipedia's policy that biographical information about living persons must not be libelous. Any controversial statements about a living person added to an article, or any other Wikipedia page, must include proper sources. If you don't know how to cite a source, you may want to read Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners for instructions. Thank you. TbhotchTalk C. 03:40, 6 June 2010 (UTC)

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Talk:Mike Nifong. Your edits have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. The reverted edit can be found here. Thank you. — Mr. Stradivarius 09:07, 2 July 2011 (UTC)

I removed your comment from the talk page. Thank you for taking the time to explain your edits - it is appreciated. However, I'm afraid it is not acceptable to post comments that may be seen as libelous, even on talk pages. If you can reformulate your message in a way that avoids making accusations about people outside of Wikipedia, then I invite you to post it again. If you have any questions, you can ask me here, as I will be watching this page. All the best. — Mr. Stradivarius 09:20, 2 July 2011 (UTC)
I'll also admit that removing your comment due to libel concerns is fairly ironic given that you were also pointing out a libel concern. I'll look into the issue of libel in the article for you. — Mr. Stradivarius 09:34, 2 July 2011 (UTC)
The source for the sentence in question says that Nifong lost his law license - this falls under the definition of disbarred in our disbarment article (which I'm assuming is correct). As the claim of Nifong being disbarred has been verified, it is not libelous, and so doesn't have to be removed from the article. Again, if you have any questions about this, I'll be happy to answer them here. — Mr. Stradivarius 09:42, 2 July 2011 (UTC)

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did at Mike Nifong with this edit, you may be blocked from editing. Bentogoa (talk) 09:08, 2 July 2011 (UTC)

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
