August 2011[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on I'm with You (album). Users are expected to collaborate with others and avoid editing disruptively.

In particular, the three-revert rule states that:

  1. Making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue to edit war, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Yworo (talk) 14:45, 19 August 2011 (UTC)

You are a hypocrite. Users like you use your "powers" (I don't even know what you do possess) over IP addresses to suit your opinion. You'd have me blocked because you can't/won't/don't want to read consensuses on talk pages, but are blinded by YOUR OWN edits to the page. Blocking powers don't work to your opinion, and don't just come to life because you disagree. (talk) 15:10, 19 August 2011 (UTC)
Most of the various IPs reinserting the release dates are all you. You want to be treated as an equal, create an account. You've used multiple IP address without revealing their unified identity, which is a violation of our policy against using sockpuppets. You seem unfamiliar with many of our standard rules, and it's not my job to educate you. I've found trying to educate IP editors fruitless. If you want to create an account and join the community , then it might be worth my while to attempt to educate you and point out the relevant policies, but since you'll be at a different IP tomorrow or the next day, why the hell should I bother now? Yworo (talk) 15:25, 19 August 2011 (UTC)
Excuse me. You are now just making wild assumptions about me as an IP editor with NO proof whatsoever. I have ONLY edited the talk page under this IP address. Please provide another IP address from the talk page, because I can't see ONE IP apart from 220.239. All the rest are registered editors. Nice threat. Just stop with it. I'm not "making trouble" as an IP, this is being far too read into by you. By the way, I have an account (I've been a registered user for over 5 years), I just can't be bothered logging in. It's recommended that I log in, not a "law"/guideline, even. Educate me? I can read fine. Like I keep saying, I've read WP:CRYSTAL. You're not talking about anything else, so don't act like it's "educating" me. It doesn't violate anything on there. If you can explain how it does on the talk page without repeating yourself, I'll by all means read what you have to say. (talk) 15:32, 19 August 2011 (UTC)
Oh, that's funny. I've only used one IP address, he says, posting from a completely different one. Yworo (talk) 15:34, 19 August 2011 (UTC)
Read what I said on the talk page. How fitting it was your accusation came true and that my computer changed it right after you said that. Still, you're getting away from the point. THERE WERE NO IP EDITS BEFORE AUGUST 19. 220.239 and 110.33 have both been me, I admit. So get your facts straight before you accuse me yet again. I'm done. (talk) 15:44, 19 August 2011 (UTC)
On the article, there are plenty of IP edits before Aug 19. Yworo (talk) 15:46, 19 August 2011 (UTC)
I'm aware of that, but they're not all about the release date (which is what this was about at the beginning), and it's unrealistic and an accusation to think/say that I did all of those edits. (talk) 15:51, 19 August 2011 (UTC)
Maybe not, but it is reasonable to identify you as Ss112, as you geolocate to Australia, and Ss112 says he is in Australia and has been editing since 2006, the five years you say you've had an account. And Ss112 reinserted the release information on Aug 18, meaning you may be editing as an IP not by mistake, but to avoid being identified as the same editor continuing to edit war, which is against our sockpuppeting policy.
