About your recent edits[edit]

Warning icon Hello. You're an IP editor, but I'll just talk here. I'm another editor. I saw your edit to Police car and eventually also saw your other edits to Fire engine, Ambulance, Coronation, Coronations in Asia, and List of royal crowns.

While we're glad to see you want to contribute to the English Wikipedia, these edits have had some issues. The coronation edits, for example, added an image that was not properly formatted and disrupted the appearance of the article. Your edits to the emergency vehicle articles also seemed to prioritize the replacement of all lead images with Indian emergency vehicles, even if there was no issue with the previous images.

You're not in trouble, and we're not going after you. You're clearly editing in good faith, and you hopefully want to help, not vandalize. But these edits, while in good faith, are disruptive. Issues such as the poorly-formatted coronation image negatively effect Wikipedia and can take up the time of other editors when they have to undo or fix them.

If I can suggest anything, it's that you check our Getting started page. You don't need to read or do everything listed there, but just look through it when you can and familiarize yourself with editing. Based on your edits, I'd suggest the Introduction to policies and guidelines, Introduction to the Manual of Style, and Introduction to tables, but feel free to check other introductions as well.

Hopefully this didn't scare you off. Do keep editing, just do it properly. If you choose, you can make an account; here's a few reasons why. Have fun out there. AdoTang (talk) 21:32, 18 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
