Dariel Fitzkee[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! I'm YorkshireLad, and I've been around here a little while. Thank you for your contributions, but I'm afraid I had to undo your change to Dariel Fitzkee, for two reasons:

  • It was written in the first person. To a reader, it's not clear who "I" is referring to. (You can use first-person pronouns on talk pages, like the one for Dariel Fitzkee's article, because that's where editors have discussions about article content.)
  • It was adding what looked to be what Wikipedia calls original research—that is, facts, allegations, ideas, personal experiences, etc., for which no reliable, published sources exist.

If you have reliable sources you can cite, then you may like to add the information back, but keeping to a third-person, encyclopedic style. Since the subject is a family member of yours, however, you should possibly read Wikipedia's guidelines on conflict of interest. YorkshireLad (talk) 00:29, 1 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
