I've started a discussion at Talk:The Marías § Capitalisation of 'the Marias', please explain there why you believe the Marias should be exempt from the MOS:THEBAND Wikipedia guideline. If the discussion goes nowhere and you'd like more input on the matter, choose an appropriate option at Wikipedia:Dispute resolution.
