Multiple revisions to a question

Hi 2A06,

It's understandable that sometimes you make a remark on a talk page or refdesk and look back and see that it's not exactly what you wanted, so you revise it. Not a problem within reason. But making 19 revisions to the same question in a little over an hour, like you did on WP:RD/Math? That seems a little excessive. As a practical matter, it makes the history of the page harder to find things in, and it keeps popping up on people's watchlists. Maybe spend a little more time thinking about what you want to say before saving the edit? --Trovatore (talk) 20:50, 29 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users.
