No one abandons a mainline railroad to “promote highway usage” (!) E-L did it to eliminate the ruinous grades over Dansville for Buffalo-Nee Jersey freights. Dansville Hill[edit]

Cannot reach anyone with unblock request.[edit]

Form gives me “419 Page Timed Out” every time. Have been ruthlessly blocked by “DatGuy” for “sock puppetry”, which I never heard of until now. Want to speak by phone to a senior administrator, as I cannot understand most of your site. Please call me ASAP at (828)297-7823 (EDT). All I want is to be able to do constructive, sourced edits to improve Wikipedia. My old sign-in ID is “16ConcordeSSC”. Thank you.
