Twitter is a website where you can chat to friends, family and others. To go to your profile click "Profile" at the top of the page. If you want to keep track of what someone on Twitter is doing, click the "Find People" icon at the top of the page and type in a name. If the person is found, click their icon and press follow at the top of their profile. If people think your tweets are interesting or funny, then they could follow you. Your tweet count is to the right on your profile. Favourites is also to the right of your profile. In order to favourite a tweet, hover your mouse over a tweet and click the small star at the top of the tweet. Then the tweet will be added to your favourites. Clicking the "Home" button at the top of the page will take you to the homepage, where you can view the tweets of the people you follow and your tweets. To tweet, click in the empty box at the top of the homepage and type in what you want. Then click "Update". To the right of the homepage it will say "Home", "@[your username]", "Favourites", and "Retweets". If you click on "@[your username]", then it will show tweets from anyone that you are mentioned in. If you click "Favourites", your favourites will be displayed (See above for how to favourite a tweet). Clicking on "Retweets" will show tweets that you have retweeted and your tweets that have been retweeted. In order to retweet a tweet, hover your mouse over a tweet and click "Retweet" at the bottom of the tweet. This will then make you tweet the tweet that you retweeted. If you want to reply to a tweet, hover the mouse over a tweet and click "Reply". Then type your reply and click "Reply". 4Galex (talk) 14:14, 5 January 2010 (UTC)
