I'm removing my vandal warning, but I still believe the links in question to be promotional in nature, but I believe they were added in good faith. Thank you for your edits <3 ♥ Solarra ♥ ♪ Talk ♪ ߷ ♀ Contribs ♀ 14:24, 18 June 2012 (UTC)

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Talk:Conway's Game of Life. While objective prose about beliefs, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. This is Really MichaelCrawford. Please Don't Revert My Edits.[edit]

I am Wikipedia member MichaelCrawford, posting from IP Address 50.131.200.103.

I have been posting without logging in lately as I am unable to get into my eMail to reset my password. I expect I can fix that, but to do so will be troublesome so I just have not dealt with it yet.

A couple editors this morning quite mistakenly got the idea that I was committing vandalism or posting spam. Nothing could be further from the truth. I expect they were alerted by some Bot that saw me post without logging in.

In reality I have been a Wikipedia contributor for many years. I don't edit a whole lot, but what little content I have been able to contribute has always been well-thought out, completely appropriate as well as consered to be a welcome addition by the others who edit the same pages I do.

July 2012[edit]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add soapboxing, promotional or advertising material to Wikipedia, as you did at Wikipedia:You do need to cite that the sky is blue, you may be blocked from editing. Double sharp (talk) 09:48, 20 August 2012 (UTC)

Changed from #4 to #3, as this seems to be in good faith, but (1) the material is not really relevant to the page, which is simply using the sky being blue as an example of something obvious and goes on to use this example about the need for citing things that may appear obvious to an editor, and (2) you are citing your own papers, so there may be a conflict of interest here.
