You are welcome to "update" the article on Joe Solmonese as you stated in your edit summary. What you are not welcome to do is to overwrite the whole article with one that is much less suitable for Wikipedia. Points to note are:

  1. Promotional language such as Joe brings the right people and processes together is not permissible. Articles should be confined to neutrally presented, factual material.
  2. Sources cited should as far as possible be independent of the subject. So, the person's own website, LinkedIn page, or his own published writings cannot in general be admitted as sources. Many of the references in the previous version, which I have now restored, are of greater value than those you substituted, and should not be removed without good reason.
  3. There should be no external links in the text of the article. A very limited number of links (such as to the person's own website, or that of the organization he is best known for running) may be placed in the External links section at the bottom of the page.

Please only remove article content where it is demonstrably inaccurate or irrelevant. Otherwise existing articles should be updated and expanded using only well-sourced, verifiable information giving a balanced account of the topic.

Finally, if you have any form of association with Joe Solmonese, you should be aware of our requirements concerning "conflict of interest". Thank you: Bhunacat10 (talk), 19:36, 11 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
