Hi, I am afraid I had to revert your addition of anchor rode to Shot disambiguation page because: 1. MOS:DAB requires a single link to an item in disambiguation pages because the purpose of the page is to assist people to find what they are looking for not to provide information. 2. None of the links provided appeared to have this use of shot in them. To make this addition you would first have to write it into a page and then link to that. Ex nihil (talk) 04:03, 22 June 2013 (UTC) Probably, you are correct, a shot is a unit of length for anchor chains but no wiki page says that yet and so this disambig. page has nowhere to point to. Feel free to get it into a page, but make sure you have a citation. Ex nihil (talk) 04:03, 22 June 2013 (UTC)

  • Please read MOS:DAB, type it into Search. You need a single link with no piping. Ex nihil (talk) 07:34, 23 June 2013 (UTC)
