Welcome[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!

Someone using this IP address has made unhelpful edits, which have been reverted. If you did this, in the future please try to contribute in a more constructive manner. If you did not do this, you may wish to consider getting a username to avoid confusion with other editors.

You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free, requires no personal information, and has many benefits. Without a username, your IP address is used to identify you.

Some good links for newcomers are:

Please sign your name on talk pages using four (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and timestamp. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions.

Again, welcome! Shearonink (talk) 02:53, 26 January 2011 (UTC)

Your recent edits[edit]

Information.svg Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you must sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button Insert-signature.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 01:49, 23 December 2010 (UTC)

January 2011[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Talk:Nicki Minaj, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. The reverted edit can be found here. Thank you. →GƒoleyFour← 18:03, 10 January 2011 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Talk:Pink Friday, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Yves (talk) 18:39, 10 January 2011 (UTC)

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Talk pages[edit]

If you registered as a user, had an account for four days and did at least ten edits you would then be auto-confirmed and could edit semi-protected articles yourself. Talk pages are a place to discuss improvements to the associated article, not a place to discuss other editors' perceived behavior or to discuss Wikipedia policies as you did with this post at Talk:Nicki Minaj. Also, Wikipedia articles are created through collaboration and consensus, editors do not own or control any Wikipedia articles. Shearonink (talk) 03:22, 26 January 2011 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to Lil Kim Black Friday has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you.
