April 2019[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Binksternet. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Gravity (Sara Bareilles song) have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Binksternet (talk) 03:39, 9 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

August 2019[edit]

I don't understand how this was different from the portioned that remained on the article. It's simply talking about covers performed.

I suggest you read the guideline at WP:SONGCOVER which sets a high bar for inclusion. Song articles are not intended to list every single cover version. Only the most important ones are mentioned. You need to show how a particular cover version is important. Binksternet (talk) 16:35, 6 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

October 2019[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Gravity (Sara Bareilles song); that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Binksternet (talk) 16:34, 6 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Not an edit war. I was reverting the article back to it's original before I made any edits. You decided to make further edits. Calm down.
