Big windows[edit]

Sorry to have to tell you this but that window that you cited as the biggest church window in the world is not, by quite a long way. The east window of York MInster is 76 x 32 feet, and the east window of Gloucester Cathedral is even bigger. The thing that makes the window at York particularly remarkable is that it has retained its Medieval Glass- the glass is 500 years old.

The only way that the statement made at that website can be true is of they are being really cunning and drawing a fine line between "church windows" and "cathedral windows". If this is the case, then it simply doesn't count. Amandajm (talk) 12:18, 16 January 2010 (UTC)
