[edit]Before adding a category to an article, as you did to Joni Mitchell, please make sure that the subject of the article really belongs in the category that you specified according to Wikipedia's categorization guidelines. The category being added must already exist, and must be supported by the article's verifiable content. Categories may be removed if they are deemed incorrect for the subject matter. Thank you. - If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Courtney Barnett. Stop adding unsupported categories. Binksternet (talk) 20:40, 17 December 2020 (UTC)
- Previous disruption of the same sort was made by Special:Contributions/80.233.36.61 in May 2020, Special:Contributions/80.233.38.5 and Special:Contributions/80.233.44.15 in June, and Special:Contributions/80.233.47.132 in July. Long-term abuse, multiple IPs. Binksternet (talk) 22:02, 17 December 2020 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
