Please don't create links to people who are unlikely to meet wikipedia's notability standards (see WP:BIO). I spotted a few links you had created to unsuccessful candidates in election, and unlinked them, but I see you have created a lot more. I will unlink them too, but just wanted to explain why: merely standing for election does not of itself make someone notable enough to have an article.
If there is substantial coverage of any of the people in reliable sources, then feel free to write an article which demonstrates their notability ... but otherwise, please don't link to them.
Welcome to Wikipedia. While everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your contributions, such as your recent edit to Ebbw Vale (UK Parliament constituency), did not appear to be constructive and was automatically reverted by DASHBot.
- Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Note that human editors do monitor recent changes to Wikipedia articles, and administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism.
- DASHBot produces few false positives, but they do happen. If you believe the bot has reverted your edit wrongly, it is helpful if you report the error so the bot does not make the same mistake again. Please:
- Hi. Redirecting a title to itself is a mistake. It looks like there was a historic parliamentary constituency called "Ebbw Vale", but we do not seem to have an article about it. Writing such an article would be helpful; just changing the existing redirect, however, doesn't fix the problem. --R'n'B (call me Russ) 15:24, 19 October 2010 (UTC)
