I was always going to be Mark Leslie Hughes, but maybe it sounded better or looked better on the birth certificate as Leslie Mark Hughes. [fourfourtwo] Jim1138 (talk) 22:42, 16 December 2011 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for how to cite sources, and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, we would ask that you assume good faith while interacting with other editors, which you did not on Craig Bellamy. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Mosmof (talk) 22:03, 20 April 2012 (UTC)

Germany flag icon
On the Great Britain national football team article you keep removing the "|Nazi" part from the template. Why is this? Believe it or not, during those Olympics that was their flag. On WikiPedia we use the flag icons with respect to history. See: Football_at_the_1936_Summer_Olympics#Final_tournament. Note the old flags of Italy, Germany, Hungary, Egypt and China. To use the modern flag of germany for a link to the 1936 Summer Olympics would be historically inaccurate. Cheers Del♉sion23 (talk) 20:46, 29 June 2012 (UTC)
- The nazis were a Political Entity that caused the massacre of thousands of innocent people, this is not a Olympic Value, in addition, this logo is not a flag of Germany and carries values that cause anger/hurt to many. This is why the nazi 'Flag' is not required and should not be used. Perhaps the original German flag (German Empire) would be more accurate? 188.8.131.52 (talk) 07:32, 30 June 2012 (UTC)
- I know what the Nazi's did. And pretending that they never existed makes it all better?? "If we forget the past we are doomed to repeat it." That flag was the official flag of Germany in 1936 (see Flag of Germany, Timeline of national flags, 1936 Summer Olympics, and Battle of Britain) and so that is the one that is used in this context. It isn't an endorsement, far from it. It's merely stating a fact. "At this time the flag of Germany was X". By removing it, you would be whitewashing history. If you want to remove it, I suggest you take it up on the talk page of 1936 Summer Olympics. Either that or take it to the IOC and ask them why they thought it was wise to let the Olympics go ahead in a totalitarian country. Del♉sion23 (talk) 11:11, 30 June 2012 (UTC)
Hello, I'm Arctic Kangaroo. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Sean Scannell, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks, Arctic Kangaroo 08:09, 9 March 2013 (UTC)
Hello, I'm Mattythewhite. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Bobby Zamora seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Mattythewhite (talk) 16:00, 23 June 2013 (UTC)
