Instead of "Catholic Church" it would be more neutral to use "Roman Catholic Church"(i.e. the Catholic Church of Rome). The Eastern Orthodox church e.g. also call itself "Catholic" and Protestant use the term "Catholic" to point to the universality (Kath+holos) of the Church. Instead of granting Rome the privilege of using this term, it would be more neutral to prefix it with Roman.
