Hi, and welcome to Wikipedia!
While I have no reason to doubt you concerning your edit on the April 9 page, the event falls outside of WP:DOY guidelines. Realistically, one should not have to go pouring through search engine results to verify what someone adds to a page. Nowhere in the article is any mention of it being a holiday. If it's important, and it sounds like it is, add the statement to the article with a reliable cited reference and then there's no issue. As a suggestion, check out the welcome page for some tips. Once again, welcome aboard! Cheers! Kentholke (talk) 01:10, 18 March 2009 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address.
