[edit]

Hello, I'm Mako001. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Middle Welsh, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Mako001 (C)  (T)  🇺🇦 22:16, 31 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Incredible. I did, in fact, provide sources - you just deleted enormous chunks of text which did contain many quite explicit indications of sources by means of footnotes. Please take the pains to identify the specific bits of my text that you do want to know the source for. Obviously, I can't add a footnote after every single sentence I write in advance, the footnotes are commonly placed at the ends of paragraphs or sequences of paragraphs. For the time being, I will just revert your revert, since the rationale for it was simply factually and demonstrably false.--87.126.23.178 (talk) 22:44, 31 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry about that, I didn't actually intend to revert that. I don't recall it happening, but I'm guessing it was a misclick. Again, my apologies. Mako001 (C)  (T)  🇺🇦 05:05, 1 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
OK, accepted. IMO, it's because many IPs add nonsense or vandalism and people get used to reverting that, but hey, we aren't all the same, that's why we're allowed to edit in the first place. I did add a reference for a sentence I had added to a section, so that's something good that came out of it. :) --87.126.23.178 (talk) 23:10, 1 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
