Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, we would like to remind you not to attack other editors, as you did on Talk:Witchcraft. Please comment on the contributions and not the contributors. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. As far as can be shown, noone working on the Wikipedia Witchcraft article has killed anyone. If you have a problem with the Witchcraft article, I recommend that you read the neutral point of view guidelines and the reliable source guidelines, review some of the sources for the article (rather than neo-pagan fundamentalist sites), and then see why the article is written with the assumption that Gardner made up Wicca. The NPOV policy does not mean that we support everyone's POV. Thank you. Ian.thomson (talk) 13:25, 16 February 2010 (UTC)
Your recent edits
Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 19:04, 16 February 2010 (UTC)
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! While we appreciate that you enjoy using Wikipedia, please note that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and not a social network. Wikipedia is not a place to socialize or do things that are not directly related to improving the encyclopedia, as you did at Talk:Witchcraft. Off-topic material may be deleted at any time. This message is not meant to discourage you from editing Wikipedia but rather to remind you that the ultimate goal of this website is to build an encyclopedia. Also, please read the WP:NPOV and WP:RS guidelines, and I recommend visiting your local library and asking a librarian for help looking on JSTOR or some similar service for articles about witchcraft from scholarly journals.
