Steve Beverley

[edit]

Hi. Can you explain your relationship to Steve Beverley. Based on your username, I am guessing you are either Steve, or closely related to Steve in some way. Please be aware of wikipedia guidelines and policies such as conflict of interest, reliable sources, verifiability, and notability. The article had improvement tags added which you have removed more than once. I don't see that the issues have been addressed, especially reliable sources. Please do not remove the tags unless you have resolved the issue. Regards. -- Whpq 21:13, 10 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes I am Steve Beverley. I wanted to add in my own biography and my company's information to wikipedia. I was attempting to use some of the pages as an idea to format my own page like others but not copy any of their information. Am I doing somethign worng agains the policies of wikipedia? -- 911inc

Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and not a promotional tool. There is a guideline on autobiographies which essentially boils down to "Avoid writing or editing an article about yourself, other than to correct unambiguous errors of fact." I'll also not that another editor has tagged your article for speedy deletion. Regards -- Whpq 21:29, 10 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I notice you tried to blank the page. If you want to delete the article, you can request the deletion as the original, and only substantial editor by adding teh tag {{db-author}} to the top of the article. Regards. -- Whpq 14:25, 11 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image (Image:911Inc logo.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:911Inc logo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 19:23, 18 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
