Hi.. I don't think you've understood what I am trying to do. My contention is that there is no independent evidence that Bray was ever a numismatist. It's quite significant, because he seems to be of independent financial means, and people wonder how he achieved that. All the references that say he was a professional numismatist, are to press articles where journalists just report Bray's own claim, unchallenged.
How can I give a reference to something that does not exist? I would have to list every trade directory for coin dealers and show that Bray has never been listed in any of them. All I am asking is for somebody to give evidence from an independent, reliable source that what Bray was actually a professional numismatist, e.g. archived web page listing coins for sale, directory listing with his details and address, or something similar. Then the Wiki page would be greatly improved and I will admit that my concerns are unfounded. Thank you. 92.28.175.146 (talk) 15:50, 28 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi 92.28.175.146! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Steve Bray several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Steve Bray, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. Lord Belbury (talk) 15:55, 28 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. I have posted my concerns on the Talk:Steve Bray page, and await to see if anybody can find the evidence I've asked for. 92.28.175.146 (talk) 16:03, 28 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
