[edit]Hello, I'm AntiDionysius. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added to Ann Prentiss have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. Hello, I'm AntiDionysius. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Ann Prentiss, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. AntiDionysius (talk) 20:52, 17 September 2023 (UTC)
- I can't find what I submitted. All I can remember now is that I went to high school with and knew her sister Paula. Maybe you can lead me to what I wrote so I can correct it or comment on it. Thanks. Old-73tuldog (talk) 03:45, 6 November 2023 (UTC)
Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Ann Prentiss. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. References are needed for information, but blogs can't be used as references (and when they're just put in the external links section, it particularly makes it look like someone is just trying to promote their blog. See the guide to reliable sources to learn more about what constitutes a reliable source. AntiDionysius (talk) 21:07, 17 September 2023 (UTC)
