Face-smile.svgWelcome to Wikipedia!

Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions! I'm Ashbeckjonathan, one of the other editors here, and I hope you decide to stay and help contribute to this amazing repository of knowledge. Although you're free to perform most tasks on Wikipedia without registering, it's highly recommended you create an account as there are many added benefits. It's free, simple, and quick to do.

There are many ways you can contribute to Wikipedia. Here are a few ideas:

Remember to always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the Insert-signature.png button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes (~~~~) at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your IP address (linked to your contributions page. However, if you create an account, your IP address will be hidden and you will be able to build a custom signature that can link to your own user page), a link to this (this IP's talk) page, and a timestamp.

The best way to learn about something is to experience it. Explore, learn, contribute, and don't forget to have some fun!
To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. If you create an account, you can create your own private sandbox for use any time. Perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you could put a link to it on your user page.

Sincerely, User:Ashbeckjonathan (talk) 01:42, 26 November 2013 (UTC)   (Leave me a message)

November 2013[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Greatpopcorn. I wanted to let you know that I undid one or more of your recent contributions to Steve Stirling because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, you can use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Information icon Please refrain from changing genres, as you did to Dallas Eakins, without providing a source and without establishing a consensus on the article's talk page first. Genre changes to suit your own point of view are considered disruptive. Thank you. Per long-standing consensus at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Ice Hockey, please do not add stats for the current season, as they become instantly out of date with the next game. Consensus dictates to wait for the end of the season. This covers players, coaches and GMs also. Echoedmyron (talk) 13:03, 30 November 2013 (UTC)
