I just read your "Raw Thought" (http://www.aaronsw.com/weblog/whowriteswikipedia#c12) and was so stunned by its truth I decided to vote for you.

Unfortunately, I've only made a handful of anonymous, but lengthy wikipedia edits, so I fit in the category of "outsider contributor". Even if I were a registered user, I don't have anywhere near the "400 edits before 1 August 2006" required to be eligible to vote.

So once again, so sorry. It seems wikimedia has already closed its portals too tightly for my tastes. If the trend continues, it is unlikely I'll contribute in the future.

I hope you get elected, and I hope you alter this destructive course towards elitest exclusivity, but you evidentally have to do it without material support from the likes of me.
