Sultan ALIYU KARAMI ibn Muhammad Bello, Sultan of Sokoto 1866/1867, born 1809, Sarkin Baura, 6th Sarkin Musulmi, married and had issue. He died 20th October 1867. Barau Abubakar Ladan, married and had issue. Muazu Barau Ladan, he graduated from Usmanu Danfodiyo University, with a degree in Biochemistry. Usman ibn Aliyu Karami Umaru ibn Aliyu Karami, Sarkin Gobir Isa, married and had issue. Isa Ibrahim ibn Umaru, Sarkin Gobir Isa, married and had issue. Alhaji Sulaiman Isa ibn Ibrahim, born 1909 in Isa town in Sokoto State. He had his early primary education in Sokoto before moving to Katsina Teachers college (now Barewa college Zaria) in 1923. His admission number at Barewa was BOBA 51, then known as Sule Isa. He was one of the first members of the Sokoto Royal family to be trained in western education. He was joined at the Katsina Teachers College later by his cousin the late Sir Ahmadu Bello Sardauna of Sokoto in 1926. Alhaji Sulaiman Isa has worked in various capacities first as a school teacher and later as administrator with the Sokoto local authority culminating into his appointment as secretary to the Sultanate Council during the reign of Sultan hassan bn Muazu (1932-38). Sulaiman Isa was one of the six princes along with Sir Ahmadu Bello and the eventual winner Sir Siddiq Abubakar III that keenly contested the Sultanate throne at the death of Sultan Hassan in 1938. He was subsequently appointed the Sarkin Malamai of Sokoto by Sultan Abubakar III who also later appointed him the Sarkin Kudun Gusau in 1951. Sulaiman Isa was one of the first members appointed to the Federal House of representatives from Sokoto. He was at one time the Chairman, Northern Region Marketing Board, Member Board of Directors of Nigeria Railway corporation and the Nigerian Port Authority. He served on the Northern Region Committee on the prerogative of mercy amongst others, married and had issue. He died 4th July, 1984. Alhaji Abdullahi Sulaiman, Permanent Secretary (retd.) Sultan ABUBAKAR II ibn Muhammad Bello, Sultan of Sokoto 1873/1877, born 1812, 8th Sarkin Musulmi, 1st District Head of Rabah, married (amongst others), Zainab binti Abdullahi, daughter of Emir Abdullahi of Kano, and had issue. He died March 1877. Usman ibn Abubakar Abdullah ibn Abubakar Muhammadu ibn Abubakar Aliyu ibn Abubakar, 5th District Head of Rabah 1891/1900. HRH Sultan Alhaji MUHAMMADU MACCIDO ibn Abubakar, Sultan of Sokoto 1996/2006, born 20th April 1926 in Sokoto, 19th Sarkin Musulmi and Sarkin Kudu; he held various local and state government posts and served as a presidential liaison officer during the Second Republic 1979–83; married and had issue. He died in a plane crash on 29th October 2006 near Abuja. Alhaji Muazu Muhammadu Maccido, born 1948, District Head of Sokoto Sabon Gari 1997/1998. He died 15th November 1998 in Runjin Sambo, Sokoto State. Alhaji Bello Maccido, Wakilin Sokoto. Badamasi Muazu Muhammadu Maccido, Federal Senator in Nigeria; married and had issue. He died with his father in a plane crash on 29th October 2006 near Abuja. Umaru Muazu Maccido, died with his father and grandfather in a plane crash on 29th October 2006 near Abuja.
