External Links[edit]

Unfortunately, I had to revert your external link additions. Wikipedia is not meant to keep a list of all relevant external links in its articles. The external link section is generally saved for things like the official website of the article's topic or neutral and authoritative sites that can be used for further research. The site you linked doesn't appear to be a very authoritative reference site. For any questions, feel free to leave me a message at my User page (User talk:Johnpseudo) or check out the official Wikipedia policy on external links (WP:EL). johnpseudo 01:45, 2 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

BiobasedNews.com appears to be a news aggregator service of some kind. External links for wikipedia articles should contain permanent, reliable content that provides a resource for further research beyond what a fully-developed article would provide. Your news site is neither permanent, nor does it provide a reliable source in that it appears to link to a wide variety of not-necessarily-neutral sites. And the information provided is over a wide range of topics not necessarily having to do with the articles to which you added the link. External links are not a big part of wikipedia, and no one website is likely to be an appropriate addition for more than one or two articles. If you find information through biobasednews.com that you feel is missing from wikipedia, please be bold and add the material to the article you feel to be most appropriate. johnpseudo 03:30, 3 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I've removed this same link that you added to two pages in the past few days. Please reread the above if you have questions about why. NJGW (talk) 20:44, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
