Sorry it took me so long to reply!
[edit]Through some oversight, I stopped checking the Wikispaces AfD - sorry!! Anyway, if you could give me a list of articles that you believe should be deleted based on the same criteria that yours was deleted on, I'd be glad to have a look at them and nominate them for deletion if the criteria apply. - I've done some research and I think you could get the Wetpaint article deleted per WP:WEB, but I'm not entirely sure. I'm going to get a few other people to look at it, and I'll get back to you ASAP. :) Srose (talk) 23:27, 14 August 2006 (UTC)
- The other wikis have some claim to fame: they were the first to do something, or they have a unique service, or they have hundreds of thousands of members, or they're the only wiki available in a certain language. Srose (talk) 18:41, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
- Hmmm... While rewriting the article certainly would be helpful, I still believe Wikispaces may fail WP:WEB because I can't find any non-trivial ("non-trivial sources" = no blogs, no self-reviews, no self-promotions, no advertisements) references to it. If you could point me to perhaps a news article or a review from an independent third party (describing the site itself, not one of the blogs hosted there), I think you'd be able to recreate it. - Wow, that was a very helpful response! Thanks!! I looked over your sources, and I believe that the last three will definitely help. I'm assuming that you are, in fact, Adam Frey (nice to meet you, you should help me with my site :P), and I wonder if you know how many customers you have? The size of the member pool (if, of course, it's verifiable - you could just post it on the site if it's not visible to the public elsewhere) could be a tremendous help. What awards have you won, if any? Srose (talk) 20:13, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
