A tag has been placed on Thurmaston Magpies, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable. If you can indicate why Thurmaston Magpies is really notable, you can contest the tagging. To do this, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and leave a note on Talk:Thurmaston Magpies, explaining how Thurmaston Magpies is notable. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself.

Please read the criteria for speedy deletion (specifically, article #7) and our general biography criteria. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Bubba hotep 23:31, 28 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Duplicate images uploaded

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Challenge67.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Challenge67.JPG. The copy called Image:Challenge67.JPG has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 19:14, 4 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Notification of automated file description generation

[edit]

Your upload of File:Challenge67.jpg or contribution to its description is noted, and thanks (even if belatedly) for your contribution. In order to help make better use of the media, an attempt has been made by an automated process to identify and add certain information to the media's description page.

This notification is placed on your talk page because a bot has identified you either as the uploader of the file, or as a contributor to its metadata. It would be appreciated if you could carefully review the information the bot added. To opt out of these notifications, please follow the instructions here. Thanks!
