Hello, I'm interrested by your photo... Could you explain more precisely where these insects were collected (under the light? on a bridge? what type of object?

Hi Laimot. I didn't notice this comment until just now. I took this picture in North Bay, Ontario. It was on a truck windshield in a parking lot. Every summer in that city, these things infest everywhere. It's ridiculous! But that summer was probably the worst year I'd seen. You can drive down the road and hear them being crushed under your tires, and the air reeks of a fishy smell. It's gross. lol. Anyhow, I only took a couple pics, and this was one of them. Another was a wall that was covered in them, and a light on the wall cast a shadow through them that looked pretty neat. But it was still gross.
