"as at" as bad English

[edit]

It is unfortunate you did this bit of "clean up". There has been a discussion about this previously. "As at" might not be American English, but it is acceptable English. I will revert your change momentarily. I will also find the piece of discussion that relates to this and link it from here for your consideration. Courtland 11:13, 2 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Martitime piracy

[edit]

Please stop categorizing Maritime piracy as a top level Category:History article. Your article is categorized as Category:Piracy which is a subcat of Category:History by topic. --Brunnock 14:10, 7 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Please discontinue usage of vague opinions as edit summaries. If you had explained such earlier, no revert would have occurred. Adraeus 14:13, 7 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox

[edit]

Why did you change the movie infobox? Your changes mess up the pages. And stop calling me a newbie. I've been here for months. The Wookieepedian 07:50, 3 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox Movie

[edit]
  1. When you typed "newbie edits," I thought you were referring to me being a newbie to wikipedia. After seeing the talk page, I see that's not the case.
  2. OK. Good for you.
  3. Sorry. I thought at first it was a mistake on your part. Now I see it wasn't a mistake you made, that it was instead intentional.
  4. Take it easy. It was a simple misunderstanding and now you are jumping to conclusions. As stated above, I reverted becuase I noticed that your change was affecting all film articles, and I thought it might have been a mistake.

I'm rather limited in my knowledge of infobox formatting, so, with your corrected infobox, is there a way to format it so that the film titles remain inside the box. The Wookieepedian 08:24, 3 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Even if it is, that doesn't prevent us from altering the "standard." The Wookieepedian 08:32, 3 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Template:Infobox Movie

[edit]

I certainly agree with AzaToth's edit, considering that the old bug was fixed in the process. He is quite a template wizard and I am confident in his abilities to improve templates technically. Shawnc 15:29, 5 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
