Magic Patent Section

Well how about if I quote a document supplied by the patnets department?

"Beware of the Publicity Trap Don't go public with your invention until you file your patent application. Telling somone else about it can put your invention into the "public domain" and prevent you from getting a valid pattent. This could mean the end of your rights in the marketplace"

Could you please explain to me how this relates to magic the gathering since it was sold in stores for 2 years before the application was made?

Why do you keep putting "a novel method of game play" a quote, you must use a reference if you wnat to use a quote. As this quote from who knows where is irrelivant —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 203.87.127.18 (talkcontribs).

As has been explained for some time on the article's talk page, the quote is from the patent itself. When describing a patent, one must be very careful what one says a patent is "for", as almost anything one says amounts to POV interpretation (and high-stakes POV at that). For that reason, it is best to stick to the text of the claims, where that is possible. Because the section is about the patent, I believe that the citation is implicit, however if you wish, feel free to add a "citation needed" template after the quote so that someone who knows better than me how to format a patent citation can add it. But stop deleting the quote itself. AldaronT/C 16:11, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

Wheres the article's talk page? If you ar egoing top quote to need to reference it so people can check the quote, otherwise its nothing

Have seen what you have been doing over the weeks, you go and change perfectly reasonable changes people have done. You seem to think the page is just yours. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 203.87.127.18 (talkcontribs).
