explain[edit]

I have moved Explain Wikipeadia for old Librarians to User:Alihinai/Explain because:

  • It is too self referential for the (Main) namespace.
  • The title was wrong: can't spell Wikipedia and librarians should have lower case l.
  • The formatting of the article fell a very long way short of Wikipedia standards.

If you improve the quality of the article, and copy it into the Wikipedia: namespace, you may find that it is accepted. -- RHaworth 17:47, 17 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It is not just formatting that needs improved, it is content. I saw one phrase: moderator check his control panel. a) we do not have moderators, we have admins, b) I have not the faintest idea what a control panel is, c) "check" should be "checks" of course. An important aspect of the egalitarianism of Wikipedia is that almost all the tools available to admins are also available to ordinary users. -- RHaworth 17:57, 17 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
