Linking to your websites[edit]

Thanks for your response. You should take a look at WP:EL#ADV for an explanation of why linking to your own site is strongly discouraged, even if it's an otherwise useful resource. If you're only intending to add it to four pages, you should just raise the suggestion on the talk pages of those articles, to see what other, neutral editors think. --McGeddon (talk) 23:58, 21 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
