Information icon Hello, I'm JeffUK. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Jim Fouratt, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please review Wikipedia:USERG for why the 'previous editor' described the sources as unreliable. and WP:BLP to understand why the information is being removed immediately. An interview with jim fouratt is not an unreliable source for a jim fouratt wiki. Peetending it is is dishonest. Als8888 (talk) 15:17, 22 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Not to mention a literal video of the event being described happening. Just because you dont like what happened doesnt mean it didnt happen. Als8888 (talk) 15:18, 22 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I did go back and make the language more neutral so it is more fact-based. Als8888 (talk) 16:06, 22 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

And sorry i got snappy. There have been a number of people taking it down bc it doesnt look good politically for them i guess so i assumed you were doing the same. I have since seen that that was not the case. Als8888 (talk) 23:10, 22 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. 76.135.154.252 (talk) 07:15, 23 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I was engaged in an adit war because that person kept just removing my edits, despite adding more and more additional citations to back it up because for no reason. Als8888 (talk) 08:14, 23 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I think i showed my good faith and willingness to collaborate with @jeffuk earlier. I even voluntarily went back and made additional edits based on the feedback he gave. Thats not what these people were doing. They were trying to erase the event (that AGAIN is caught on video and cited) from history. Als8888 (talk) 08:15, 23 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I have extended this to an indefinite block, as you are clearly not here to build an encyclopedia and instead to push your viewpoint. RickinBaltimore (talk) 12:58, 23 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
