Dear Ameliejane, as I couldn't find any sources stating that it was John Rutledge who signed the Declaration of Independence, I had to revert Your recent edits (which were all of them). If You believe that You were right, please reveal the source materials on which You have based your changes. With regards, Krótki 01:26, 5 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure how to reply to this so I'm just editing it. If you look on any copy of the constitution, under the South Carolina section, you can see John Rutledge's signature but not Edwards. It's also in my history text book which I can site for you if you like. I don't have it here with me but I'll get back to you. Ameliejane 04:35, 5 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the answer. As for the method of replying, it was just fine; although the common way on Wikipedia is to add replies (by editing) at the interlocutor's talk page, not on your own. This method will generate a reminder to "the receiver" the next time he uses Wikipedia, so he then knows that someone is waiting for answer.

As for John Rutledge: I agree that he signed the United States Constitution - his signature is visible at the photo you provided (there's a full version at Wikipedia). But, alas, you have confused the Constitution with the Declaration of Independence, which is a different document. --Krótki 20:01, 5 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not from the US. I feel really stupid, I'm sorry. Ameliejane 02:54, 6 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not replace Wikipedia pages with blank content. Blank pages are harmful to Wikipedia because they have a tendency to confuse readers. If it is a duplicate article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If the page has been vandalised, please revert it to the last legitimate version. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please edit the page and replace it with appropriate content. If you believe there is no hope for the page, please see the deletion policy for how to proceed. Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia! - Ichiro 23:30, 17 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Oh my, it was an accident. I am sorry. What does vandalize mean?Ameliejane 19:58, 31 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
