Hello Americanhaute, and thank you for your message. The {{notability}} tag was placed on this article because it does not appear to 'assert' the basic inclusion requirements listed at WP:MUSICBIO. What we have here, is a band that's less than a year old, has not yet released an album, and was formed by members who themselves do not appear to be independently notable. There's no mention of any major awards, national tours, national airplay, single chartings, notable retail sales success... etc. The band doesn't even appear to have an official website. The article basically just informs the reader that another new band exists, but neglects to explain the band's notable achievements, its importance, or why it should be included in an encyclopedia. The existing references are probably more than enough to save this article from speedy-deletion... but in my opinion, I do not believe it would survive an AfD if nominated. My guess is that it would probably be viewed as a promotional piece, being used as nothing more than a tool to assist a struggling new band in its quest to leave an impression or initial mark on the music industry... which in turn, is something that's very widely frowned upon by the Wikipedia community. I have no immediate plans to nominate the article for deletion, but would not be surprised to see it nominated as such by another editor. I firmly believe that the {{notability}} tag applies in this situation, and should remain with the article until the described issues have finally been addressed. It's not my intention to discredit the article or the band, but believe the article may have been created far too early in the band's career.  -- WikHead (talk) 17:48, 29 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
