[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Robby.is.on. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Marin Zulim, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Robby.is.on (talk) 21:33, 2 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

To clarify: none of references given at Marin Zulim (Soccerway, Sportnet.hr, CFF) have him playing for Dugopolje. Kind regards, Robby.is.on (talk) 21:34, 2 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for adding a reference. I updated the timestamp (see {{{club-update}}} at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Infobox_football_biography).

Do you happen to know of a reference that establishes the player's playing position? The article lists him as both midfielder and forward. Forward seems unlikely, he hasn't scored in any of his 93 appearances so far. Soccerway says "defender" ( https://int.soccerway.com/players/marin-zulim/189976/ ), Worldfootball.net says "forward" ( https://www.worldfootball.net/player_summary/marin-zulim/ )… Kind regards, Robby.is.on (talk) 08:35, 3 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Robby, having watched him in person many times, and as miraculous as it may seem, Zulim is a forward (sometimes a winger) with a remarkably terrible scoring statistic. I believe transfermarkt.com is the most accurate page for player positions in general, though they sometimes miss out when attributing positions to players from Croatian lower-tier teams. Thanks for adding the time stamp, I couldn't figure out how to do that myself using only the visual editor, which I'm sticking to until I've figured out source editing. Kind regards, AndrejRi (talk) 11:30, 3 April 2020 (GMT+2)

Again, welcome to the project. I hope you enjoy your time here. :-)
That is indeed remarkable, heh. Unfortunately, Transfermarkt is not considered a reliable source at WP:FOOTY so we'll have to look elsewhere. For future reference, the "club-update" field should also show up in the visual editor. Robby.is.on (talk) 14:16, 3 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
