A tag has been placed on Aspire 3100 Series, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the article and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please stop linking to a template in your User space, that's not where templates that are linked in articles belong. In addition, please stop creating these empty articles altogether until you actually explain in the article what it is you're talking about. Corvus cornixtalk 02:42, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

AfD nomination of Aspire 2420 Series

I have nominated Aspire 2420 Series, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Aspire 2420 Series. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? nneonneo talk 02:55, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

AfD and deleting userspace pages

To delete a user space page, use {{db-u1}} on that page to notify an administrator; it will then be speedily deleted (provided there's no reason to keep it).

I realize that it is frustrating when something you've done a lot of work on gets deleted (it's happened to me quite a number of times). This time, though, all those articles really have no way to expand past system specs, unless they are made notable somehow (e.g. major mass recall, extreme popularity), and if/when that does happen, an article will be merited, but not before.

I also want you to know that I do appreciate your work here (see Secure transmission for an example); you've written more new articles than I have, and I totally respect you for that. Keep on going! nneonneo talk 03:55, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
