Suggestion

Hi Animum - I love easyblock. Could I leave you one small suggestion next time you are in developement mode... When blocking a user it may be helpful if easyblock removes any categories from the user_talk page that are no longer relevant for an already-blocked user. One example I can think of is Category:Wikipedian usernames editors have expressed concern over, but there may be others. Kingpinbot cleans these up periodically, but there is still a fair amount of time that these are left in categories which may distract admin from more pressing user issues. Just a thought. If there are other reasons not to implement please disregard. Thanks.  7  01:37, 13 September 2010 (UTC)

Initial observations

EasyBlock looks really useful, but I'm still trying to figure it out. I realized just now that it seems to work only in monobook.js, not vector.js. In monobook, I'm not seeing the "block" tab appearing for all users; IP editors don't have the tab showing up for me. When it does appear, the drop-down menu spans a full screen with the links off the edge of my display on the right side. Maybe it's because I'm using Chrome? ~Amatulić (talk) 21:10, 13 September 2010 (UTC)

Ah, wait. The Block tab does appear in Vector, under a drop-down. And there, it works better in Chrome than when using Monobook. It still doesn't appear for everybody, though. None of the users reported at WP:UAA, for example, show the Block tab for me. ~Amatulić (talk) 21:13, 13 September 2010 (UTC)
