[edit]

Information icon Hi Annagrigoryan! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Benjamin Markarian that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. - Sumanuil. (talk to me) 03:03, 30 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Sumanuil, thanks for your message and for your explications. The name is misspelled as Benjamin, please see how the name is written on the official stamp issued by the government, it is Beniamin. Please also check a website dedicated to Markarian to see the right spelling of his name: http://markarian.aras.am . I removed "Benik" as this was a diminutive informal name used in his family. I know this as he was my grandfather. Thanks in advance and kind regards. Anna Annagrigoryan (talk) 03:37, 30 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
