FWBO / WBO
[edit]Its unfortunate that this article is continually vandalised to give an unbalanced view of the FWBO / WBO. It is particularly interesting that there is no acknowledgement of the explicit homophobia in the critique of the FWBO.
The underlying sense is that homosexuality is incompatible with the spiritual life. I dont think wikipedia should be used as a vehicle for bigotry. There are several positions on the issue of Sangarakshita and sex, the only one given a presence here is the heterosexist / homophobic one: men that have sex with men are either predators or victims. Equally odd, is the invisibility of women in this discourse on sexual matters and abuse of power. Are they absent from the FWBO / WBO? Or Neutered sexless creatures, requiring activation by a male?
Bigotry and manifesto are devaluing Wikipedia's worth
Are you socking?
